I love blouses from the 1930s/40s, and this top was created as a nod to the garments of that era. The cotton is good quality and is very soft. The embroidered rose design is vibrant and in very good condition. The lace trim from the edges of the textile were worked into the shoulder seaming and edges of the sleeves, allowing for a bit of a peekaboo look along the upper arm. Dainty antique mother of pearl buttons were added at the front of the blouse. The ties at the waist flaunt the vibrant floral embroidery. One tie was made longer than the other to allow them to sit at the same length once tied. The ties are an extension of the wide waistband, which meet at the back in a diagonal seam. The pieces I repurpose often show signs from a previous life well-lived. This piece has a couple of light yellow marks on the back right waistband, as shown in the last photo. Otherwise the fabric is in good vintage condition. I think this blouse would look incredible paired with high waist pleated trousers that hit at the ankles.

Measurements:
Shoulder Width- 27 inches (from sleeve edge to sleeve edge) if you want to have a sleeve, it would fit shoulder from about 15 - 20 inches across. For reference my shoulders are 15 inches across.
Bust Width- 20 inches (sleeve opening is long, allowing for some flexibility with bust measurement)
Waist Width- 16 inches
Sleeve Length- 4 - 5 inches long depending on where your shoulders hit
Sleeve Width- 12 inch opening at sides
Tie Length- Right Side: 7.5 inches long / Left Side: 9 inches long (allows tie to secure without shortening one side more than the other)
Tie Width- 3 inches wide
Total Garment Length- 17.5 inches
