This pullover wrap top boasts a bright and cheerful floral pattern that will brighten up any outfit! This piece was created using fabric from 1970s table linens. There were no tags attached to the fabric to indicate a brand or material. The fabric feels like a soft woven cotton and is comfortable to wear. It is is unlined. This piece was designed as a nod to the elegant 1940s, and looks so cute worn with denim! This one was hard to part ways with! The pieces I repurpose often show signs from a previous life well-lived, however the fabric used to create this piece is in beautiful condition. Vertical stitching on the front and back middle seam are not perfectly straight, however, this is not noticeable when worn and does not detract from the aesthetic of the garment.

How does the top work?
It wraps to the front and back of your midsection! The blouse goes on in the same way you’d put on a poncho, and using the small taupe ties on either side of the back panel, you tie it across the front of your midsection. The front panel has two large ties which can be tied in the back, or wrapped around a second time and tied in the front. This creates a soft dolman sleeve, and offers a peekaboo look to show off a cute bralette.

The fabrics of yesteryear offer patterns, colours, textures and quality that remain unmatched.
