The OG striped sweater - a little bit French Dispatch, a little bit The Life Aquatic - this 60s striped Breton sweater was made by Woolmark and is made of 100% wool. There is no marked size, however it fits like a small and has a bit of stretch to it. I replaced the two remaining original buttons, with four vintage utilitarian style buttons that fit the era of the sweater well. There are a few small marks on this sweater - the darkest of which is on the back of the left elbow and is smaller than the size of a dime. There is a spot on the back of the collar as well. The cuffs have some slight discolouration from previous wear. There was a small hole on the seam of the left elbow, which I’ve since repaired. These imperfections are hardly noticeable, and do not detract from the wearability of the garment. The imperfections can be noted in the product photos, and have been reflected in the listing price. This top looks perfect paired with a toque and jeans!
