This is such a cute piece of home decor, and if it was a Shepherd mix - you can bet your boots I’d be keeping it. This piece is faux brass (as it is slightly magnetic). It is heavy for its size and good condition. There are a couple of areas of wear to the finish, where you can see a lighter colour peeking through. The main area is on the belly of the dog, which can be noted in the photos. Use this good boy as an ornament or a paperweight - he doesn’t shed and is oh so friendly.
